NDIANA NSE

A UI/UX Designer who blends strategy, storytelling, and design to create products people love. I build experiences that feel right and work beautifully.

My UX Process / Philosophy
01.

Discover

I begin by understanding the business goals and uncovering user problems through user research methods such as interviews, surveys, and competitor analysis.

02.

Research

Next, I analyze the research findings to identify key insights. I create user personas, map out user journeys, and craft clear problem statements to guide the design direction, while prioritizing user needs.

03.

Ideate

With a clear understanding of the problem, I brainstorm possible solutions, sketch initial wireframes, map user flows, and explore multiple design directions to address user pain points creatively.

04.

Design

I move on to creating wireframes and interactive prototypes, then develop high-fidelity UI designs. I ensure consistency through design systems and incorporate accessibility best practices.

05.

Test & Iterate

Finally, I conduct usability testing to validate the designs, gather feedback, and refine the solution. I work closely with developers for a smooth handoff and continuously improve the product based on insights.

Clear Answers
to your Questions.

My design process is a structured, user-centered journey that begins with a deep dive into understanding the project's goals and the user's needs thorough research, including user interviews and competitive analysis. I then synthesize these findings to define the problem space, creating user personas and flows to guide the design. I move into ideation, sketching, and wireframing, followed by interactive prototyping to test and validate design decisions. Usability testing is crucial, and I iterate based on the feedback received. Finally, I collaborate closely with developers to ensure seamless implementation, providing detailed specifications and style guides. Post-launch, I monitor user behavior and iterate to continuously optimize the experience.

I use a curated set of industry-standard tools for different stages of the UX process:
Design & Prototyping: Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch
Research & Mapping: Notion, Miro, FigJam, Google Forms
User Testing: Maze, Useberry, Lookback
Collaboration: Slack, Zoom, Loom, Jira, Trello
Documentation & Handoff: Notion, Zeplin, Figma Dev Mode
I always choose tools that best fit the team's workflow while ensuring efficient communication and clarity across disciplines.

I welcome feedback as an essential part of the design process. Here's how I approach it:
Early and Often: I involve stakeholders and users throughout, not just at the end.
Constructive Review: I prioritize actionable feedback based on user needs, project goals, and feasibility.
Iteration: I apply changes systematically, test revised versions, and validate improvements.
Collaboration: I maintain open communication with developers, PMs, and other designers to ensure alignment.
I treat every round of feedback as an opportunity to improve the product experience and create greater value for users

I use a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods to uncover user needs: After gathering insights, I synthesize the data into personas, journey maps, and problem statements to guide the design process
